Can the Krispe Hat Cleaner clean the whole hat?

Although primarily intended for spot cleaning, our hat cleaner can also effectively clean moderately dirty hats.

​How many hats can I clean with the kit?

The Krispe Hat Cleaner can clean at least 20 caps. Each clean is calculated at removing two small-sized stains and the sweatband of a lightly stained cap.

Will it work on a non-water or oil-based stain?

The current formulation is designed specifically for water and oil-based stains and cannot be used for tougher stains such as rust, blood, or oxidized stains.

What kinds of fabrics can I use the hat cleaner on?

Our Spray is safe for use on all non-water sensitive woven fabrics, including wool. However, it's important to always test the fabric for colour fastness in an inconspicuous area before applying the stain remover. Do not use it on leather or suede.
